Evening Times Interview

Thanks to the Evening Times for a great wee article about my work.

18 May

Art Fusion, Glasgow’s West End

The concept behind Art Fusion comes from the idea of bringing together different disciplines, backgrounds, philosophies, ideas, statements, cultures, interests and skills in a 6hour event where artists learn from each other but also to force creativity out of the Gallery and studio space, face to face with the public.

It’s going to be a great event so come on down. I have a wee stall for the day to showcase some of my new work.

This year’s Gala Day is on Sunday, May 31st between 12 and 6pm.

The beginning of the Doodle Diaries

I’m still not entirely sure what a blog is but this is my attempt at one.  Let me introduce you to my spaghetti drawings.

Each week I’ll be making, creating, spawning, constructing and generating a new image using less than your traditional art materials, whatever is at hand! Watch this space.

Beatroot & Lace Bazaar

I am very excited to say my next fair will be with the Beatroot & Lace Bazaar on 30th May at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow. It’s going to be a belter of a day with some fantastic vendors like Little Dot Creations and doris does doodles.

I’ve been a busy little bee getting new drawings and prints ready especially for the day so please come and have a gander. You won’t want to miss it.

‘The Steamie’

Three of my paintings are being shown alongside 45 other wonderful artists’ work at the historic Govanhill Baths in Glasgow as part of The Steamie exhibition. The show will be on until 24th May and it’s well worth popping down to have a look, not just at the fabulous art on display but also at the building itself.  It’s a real treat!

Opening hours: 11am – 5:30pm, Monday to Saturday.
